This is a real island in the middle of a water-skiing lake. Its quirky and fun yet peaceful and relaxing all in the same breath! Fabulous for group bookings. One side of the lake is Hardwick Water Sports and the other side is Waterside Therapy Rooms, home of The Hideaway Clinic. You can fish from the island, chill out in the hot tub or *party in The Wonky Bar. There are 10 double bedrooms, all can be made up as twins plus an epic indoor games room and bar.
The Island comes with two small motor boats. You need to designate two drivers, they must be 25+ and hold a valid drivers license. Prior to arrival video instructions are sent to your drivers and they are greeted on the arrival day to check they are happy and competent with driving the boats. You are then free to be transported to and from the island by your own drivers whenever you wish.
You can swim in the lake next door in season but not in the lake the island sits in as it is a waterskiing lake.

This amazing house very quickly becomes your home and there is nothing that hasn't been thought of - you will honestly not be disappointed and you will want for nothing. From the luxurious lounge space to sit and chill, the beautiful bedrooms with their own hairdryers and robes, through to the fully equipped kitchens and games room, the attention to detail is phenominal. Adele and her fantastic team cannot do enough to make your stay superb and they can help you organise everything including cooked meals, watersports, spa treatments and even weddings!! The catering is second to none, whether it’s Abby’s “heat and eat” or fully catered BBQ - every thing was the highest quality possible and was plentiful and absolutely delicious! A gorgeous hideaway surrounded by nature, giving seclusion, peace and relaxation or wild parties and fun and games - it really is perfect for every special occasion 🤍 Honestly, I cannot recommend The Island highly enough!
